Advantage:

The best advantage of using Internet is that the marketer can easily measure the statistics. All aspects of the whole campaign can be measured, traced and tested. Marketing using the Internet is less expensive and marketers can use variety of methods such as pay per click, pay per impression and pay per action. Through these methods, a marketer can easily determine which offerings are more appealing to the audience.

Disadvantage:

Customers or buyers cannot touch or try the products before they can buy it. This is the main disadvantage of marketing using the Internet. So, some customers would hesitate to buy your products because of the inability to try the goods but industry has a policy about return and exchange.

Therefore, marketing with the use of Internet is an effective way to promotes ones product and services because marketers can provide more information to the customers, thus customers can easily find the product that they intend to buy over the Internet. And Internet marketing costs less compared to any other types of advertising.
